Chalet Càirdeil is located on the southern edge of the village of Les Praz just a 5 minute drive north east of Chamonix town centre. Les Praz is also known as Plaine Les Praz and is noted as being a fairly flat and sunny plain which results in spectacular panoramic views from Les Drus, L’Aiguilees du Midi and Mont Blanc round to Brevent, Col Cornu and L’Index.
The nearest lift is the Flegère lift which is only one or two minutes drive. Chamonix Golf Club is adjacent to the lift.
There is a comprehensive network of buses and trains which link the villages, ski resorts and towns of Chamonix Valley with Geneva, Annecy and Martigny in Switzerland.
